Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 1, 2026  ·  Last updated: October 1, 2026

Your privacy choices at a glance. LocalPlumberNow247.com connects callers with independent local plumbing companies. When you call, your call and details about your plumbing request are passed to a plumbing company or to a partner that connects calls to plumbing companies. Our website also uses cookies and advertising pixels. Under some state laws these activities can count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. You can opt out at any time:

1. Who we are

LocalPlumberNow247.com (“Local Plumber Now 24/7,” “we,” “us” or “our”) is operated by BetterAds Solutions LLC, 2021 Fillmore St, PMB 2075, San Francisco, CA 94115, United States. BetterAds Solutions LLC is the business responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

We are a referral service. We do not perform plumbing work. When you call the number on our website, we connect you with an independent plumbing company that serves your area, either directly or through a partner that routes calls to such companies.

Privacy questions and requests: email legal@betteradssolutions.com or call (833) 759-2206 (toll-free) and tell the agent you are making a privacy request.

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, sell, share and keep personal information when you visit LocalPlumberNow247.com, call a phone number shown on it, or otherwise contact us. It also serves as our notice at collection under California law and explains the privacy rights available to residents of California and other U.S. states, and how to use them.

This policy does not cover the independent plumbing companies you speak with. Once you are connected, that company handles your information under its own privacy policy.

3. Personal information we collect

Depending on how you use our website and services, we collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers: your name (if you give it), phone number and caller ID, email address (if you email us), IP address, cookie IDs, advertising click IDs (for example, Google or Microsoft click IDs) and similar online identifiers.
  • Contact and service address details: street address, city, state and ZIP code where you need service.
  • Service details (commercial information): the plumbing problem you describe, the type of service you ask about, the timing you prefer, and whether a call was connected to a provider.
  • Call information and recordings (audio information): date, time, length and outcome of calls, the number you called from and the number you called, keypad selections and, where permitted by law, recordings of calls.
  • Internet and device activity: pages you view, links and buttons you click, the website or ad that referred you, browser type, device type, operating system, language and similar technical data.
  • Approximate location: your city, state or ZIP code, either entered by you or estimated from your IP address. We do not collect precise geolocation (GPS) from your device.
  • Inferences: limited inferences drawn from the information above, such as the type of plumbing service you are likely looking for.

Sensitive personal information. We do not ask for, and do not intentionally collect, sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, government ID numbers, precise geolocation, health information, or information about race, religion or sexual orientation. Please do not share it with us on a call or by email. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

4. Where we get personal information

  • From you, when you call us, enter a ZIP code or location on our website, or email us.
  • Automatically, through cookies, pixels, tags, call-tracking technology and server logs when you use our website or call our numbers.
  • From advertising platforms and partners, such as information about the ad you clicked before arriving on our website.
  • From plumbing companies and call-routing partners, such as whether a call was connected and whether it led to a service appointment.
  • From service providers that help us run our website and phone system.

5. How we use personal information

  • To answer your call and connect you with an independent plumbing company that serves your area.
  • To route calls to the right provider based on your location, the service you need and the time of day.
  • To show you service areas and local information on our website.
  • To measure whether calls were connected, track call quality, and settle billing and reporting with our partners.
  • To advertise our services, including on other websites and apps, and to measure how well our ads work.
  • To improve our website and services and to understand how visitors use them.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, spam, abuse and security incidents.
  • To respond to your questions and privacy requests, keep records of them, and maintain our internal do-not-call list.
  • To comply with law, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect our rights and the rights of others.

We will not use your personal information for purposes that are materially different from these without telling you.

6. Who we disclose personal information to

  • Plumbing companies and call-routing partners. When you call, we connect the call, and pass your phone number, approximate location or ZIP code, the service you need and related call details, to an independent plumbing company or to a partner that connects calls to plumbing companies. We are paid by these partners for connected calls. Because of this, connecting your call may be treated as a “sale” of personal information under California and other state laws. These companies use your information under their own privacy policies.
  • Service providers and processors. Companies that work on our behalf under contracts that limit how they may use the information, such as call-tracking and call-routing platforms, telephone carriers, website hosting, analytics, email and customer-support tools.
  • Advertising partners. Advertising platforms such as Google and Microsoft collect information through cookies and pixels on our website and through conversion reports we send them (for example, that a call took place after an ad click). This helps us measure and target our ads, and may be treated as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, “targeted advertising,” or a “sale” under state laws.
  • Legal and safety. Courts, regulators, law enforcement and others when required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, our partners, us or the public.
  • Business transfers. A buyer or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this policy.
  • With your direction or consent. Anyone else you ask us to share with.

We may also share information that is aggregated or de-identified so that it cannot reasonably be linked to you. We maintain and use de-identified information only in de-identified form and do not attempt to re-identify it.

7. Cookies, pixels and similar technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage and similar technologies to make the website work, remember the service area you chose, measure traffic, track calls that start from our pages and ads, and show and measure advertising. These include tools from advertising and call-tracking providers, such as Google Ads conversion tracking and a call-tracking script that shows a phone number linked to the ad or page you came from.

Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising for that browser or device. If you have given us other information that lets us link the browser to you, we also apply the opt-out to that information. You can learn more and turn on GPC at globalprivacycontrol.org. We do not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, which have no common standard; GPC is the signal we honor.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. See How to opt out for more choices.

8. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

You have the right to tell us not to sell or share your personal information, and not to use it for targeted advertising. You do not need an account, and we will not ask for more information than we need to carry out the request. To opt out, use any of these methods:

  1. Email: send a message to legal@betteradssolutions.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share.” Include the phone number you called from (and email address, if any) so we can find your records.
  2. Phone: call (833) 759-2206 (toll-free) and say “Do not sell or share my information.”
  3. Browser signal: turn on Global Privacy Control. It applies to the browser or device that sends it.

We act on opt-out requests as soon as feasible and no later than 15 business days after we receive them. After you opt out, we will not sell or share your personal information, and will not use it for targeted advertising, unless you later authorize us to. We will also notify any third parties to whom we sold or shared your personal information between the time you made the request and the time we complied with it, and direct them to comply. Please note that if you opt out and later call us, we may still need to connect your call to a plumbing company to provide the service you ask for, which is a disclosure made at your direction.

You may use an authorized agent to opt out for you (see Authorized agents).

9. California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

This section applies to residents of California and supplements the rest of this policy. It is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (together, the “CCPA”), and its regulations. Terms such as “personal information,” “sell,” “share,” “business purpose” and “service provider” have the meanings given in the CCPA. You can read the full text of the law here: California Civil Code, Title 1.81.5 (California Consumer Privacy Act). The regulations are available from the California Privacy Protection Agency.

Your California rights

  • Right to know and access. You may ask us to disclose the categories of personal information we collected about you, the categories of sources, the business or commercial purposes for collecting, selling or sharing it, the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed it, the categories we sold or shared and to whom, and the specific pieces of personal information we collected about you. You may ask for information beyond the 12-month period, unless that is impossible or would involve disproportionate effort.
  • Right to delete. You may ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions allowed by law (for example, to complete a transaction, detect security incidents or fraud, or comply with a legal obligation). When we delete, we also tell our service providers, contractors and third parties to whom we sold or shared the information to delete it, unless that is impossible or involves disproportionate effort.
  • Right to correct. You may ask us to correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to data portability. When we respond to an access request, we provide the information in a portable and, where technically feasible, readily usable format.
  • Right to opt out of sale and sharing. You may tell us not to sell or share your personal information. See Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
  • Right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information. We do not collect or use sensitive personal information for purposes that would give rise to this right. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide a “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” link.
  • Right to non-discrimination and no retaliation. We will not deny you service, charge you a different rate, provide a different level or quality of service, or otherwise discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information.

How to submit a request

  • Email: legal@betteradssolutions.com, with the subject “California Privacy Request” and the right you want to use (know/access, delete, correct, or opt out).
  • Toll-free phone: (833) 759-2206. Tell the agent you are making a privacy request.

Verification. To protect your information, we verify requests to know, delete and correct before we act on them. We will match information you give us with information we already have, such as the phone number you called from and the approximate date and time of the call, or the email address you used to contact us. For a request for specific pieces of information, we must match at least three pieces of information and may ask you to sign a declaration under penalty of perjury that you are the person the request concerns. We use the information you provide for verification only to verify and respond to your request. We do not verify opt-out requests, but we may decline one we believe in good faith to be fraudulent and will tell you why. If we cannot verify your identity, we will tell you and explain why.

Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you. We will ask the agent for proof that you gave signed permission to act for you, and, for requests to know, delete or correct, we may ask you to verify your own identity directly with us or confirm that you gave the agent permission. These steps are not required if the agent holds a valid power of attorney under California Probate Code sections 4121 to 4130.

Response timing. We will confirm receipt of a request to know, delete or correct within 10 business days and explain how we will process it. We will respond within 45 calendar days of receiving it. If we need more time (up to 45 more days, 90 days in total), we will tell you why within the first 45 days. Opt-out requests are handled within 15 business days. Responses are free of charge, unless requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive. Requests to know and portability requests may be made up to two times in a 12-month period.

If we deny a request, we will explain why, unless the law prohibits it. You can also contact the California Privacy Protection Agency or the California Attorney General.

California “Shine the Light”

Under California Civil Code section 1798.83, California residents may ask once a year, free of charge, for information about the personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year, and the names and addresses of those third parties. To make this request, email legal@betteradssolutions.com with the subject “Shine the Light” and include your mailing address.

10. Privacy rights in other U.S. states

Several states have consumer privacy laws that give residents rights over their personal data, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Delaware, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nebraska, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky and Rhode Island, and other states with similar laws. Whether or not a particular law applies to us, we extend the rights below to all U.S. consumers, subject to the exceptions in those laws.

Your rights

  • Confirm and access: confirm whether we process your personal data and get access to it.
  • Correct: correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
  • Delete: delete personal data you provided or that we obtained about you.
  • Portability: get a copy of your personal data in a portable and, where technically feasible, readily usable format.
  • Opt out: opt out of (a) the sale of your personal data, (b) targeted advertising, and (c) profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We do not engage in that kind of profiling.
  • Third-party list: where your state law provides it (for example, Oregon, Delaware, Minnesota and Maryland), get a list of the specific third parties, or categories of third parties, to which we disclosed your personal data.
  • Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

We do not process sensitive data (as defined by these laws) without your consent, and we do not sell sensitive data. Where your state recognizes a universal opt-out mechanism, we honor Global Privacy Control as an opt-out of sale and targeted advertising.

How to exercise your rights

Email legal@betteradssolutions.com with the subject “Privacy Request,” your state of residence and the right you want to use, or call (833) 759-2206 (toll-free). To opt out of sale or targeted advertising, follow these steps or turn on GPC. We will verify requests (other than opt-outs) as described in the California section. An authorized agent may submit a request for you where your state law allows it. We will respond within 45 days, and may extend that by another 45 days when reasonably necessary, in which case we will tell you within the first 45 days. Requests are free of charge up to the limits set by your state law.

How to appeal our decision

If we decline to act on your request, in whole or in part, you may appeal. Email legal@betteradssolutions.com with the subject “Privacy Request Appeal” within a reasonable time after you receive our decision, and tell us what you are appealing. We will respond in writing within 45 days of receiving your appeal (60 days for Colorado residents), explain what we did or did not do, and give our reasons. If we deny your appeal, you may contact your state attorney general to submit a complaint, for example:

11. Nevada residents

Nevada residents may tell us not to sell their covered information, as defined in Nevada Revised Statutes chapter 603A. Email legal@betteradssolutions.com with the subject “Nevada Opt-Out,” or call (833) 759-2206. We will respond within 60 days.

12. How to opt out: step-by-step instructions

A. Stop the sale or sharing of your information

Email legal@betteradssolutions.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share,” or call (833) 759-2206 and say “Do not sell or share my information.” Include the phone number you called from. We act within 15 business days.

B. Global Privacy Control

Turn on GPC in a browser that supports it, or add a GPC extension (see globalprivacycontrol.org). We honor it automatically as an opt-out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising for that browser.

C. Cookies and interest-based ads

Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies at the NAI opt-out page and the DAA WebChoices tool (and the DAA AppChoices app for mobile apps). You can also adjust Google ad settings and Microsoft ad settings. These choices are browser- and device-specific; if you delete cookies or switch devices, you may need to opt out again.

D. Calls and text messages

If you get a call from us, say “stop calling me” or ask to be added to our internal do-not-call list. If you get a text message from us, reply STOP. You can also email legal@betteradssolutions.com with the subject “Do Not Call” and your phone number, or call (833) 759-2206. We honor these requests within 10 business days. Plumbing companies you speak with keep their own do-not-call lists, so please also tell them directly. You can register your number with the national Do Not Call Registry at donotcall.gov.

E. Email

Click the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any marketing email from us, or email legal@betteradssolutions.com with the subject “Unsubscribe.” We process requests within 10 business days. We may still send you messages about a request you made.

13. Call recording

Calls to and from the phone numbers on our website may be monitored and recorded, by us, our call-tracking providers and the plumbing companies or partners your call is connected to, for quality assurance, training, billing, dispute resolution and fraud prevention. By calling a number on our website, you consent to this monitoring and recording. If you do not want your call recorded, please hang up and contact us by email instead.

14. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, and then delete or de-identify it. In general:

  • Call records (identifiers, call details, approximate location, service details): up to 24 months after the call, to connect and report calls, resolve billing and quality disputes with partners, and prevent fraud.
  • Call recordings: up to 24 months after the call.
  • Website and cookie data: up to 26 months; cookies set by advertising partners expire under those partners’ own settings.
  • Privacy requests and do-not-call records: at least 24 months, as required by law, and do-not-call entries for as long as needed to honor them.

We may keep information longer when the law requires it, or when it is needed to resolve a dispute, enforce our agreements or protect against fraud.

15. Children

Our website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

16. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on our website and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

17. Plumbing companies and other websites

The plumbing companies we connect you with are independent businesses. They are not our employees or agents, and they handle your information under their own privacy policies. Our website may also link to other websites that we do not control. Please review their privacy policies before giving them information.

18. Accessibility

If you have a disability and need this policy in another format, contact us at legal@betteradssolutions.com or (833) 759-2206.

19. Changes to this policy

We review this policy at least once every 12 months and may update it from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice as required by law.
